FAQs
1. Customization & Size Options
Q: Can I fully customize paper cups with my brand logos, patterns and texts?
A: Yes. We support all-around personalized printing, including full-color CMYK printing on cup bodies. Custom sizes, cup heights, rim diameters and capacities (4oz, 8oz, 12oz, 16oz, 20oz, 24oz) are available to match cold drinks, hot coffee, milk tea and beverages. Custom die-cut special shapes are acceptable upon request.
Q: Can I change printing colors and add special crafts?
A: Multiple surface treatments are optional: matte coating, glossy coating, spot UV, foil stamping. Pantone color matching is offered to ensure brand color consistency.
2. Material & Food Safety
Q: What materials are used for paper cups? Are they food-safe?
A: We adopt food-grade single/double PE coated paper. All raw materials comply with international food contact standards. Single PE lining fits cold beverages; double PE lining resists high temperature and prevents water leakage for hot drinks. No harmful printing ink is used.
Q: Are eco-friendly biodegradable paper cups available?
A: PLA compostable coated paper cups are supplied as eco alternatives. They are degradable under industrial compost conditions for green catering needs.
3. Waterproof, Heat Resistance & Durability
Q: Will hot drinks cause cup softening or water leakage?
A: Double PE coated cups can hold hot liquids up to 95°C steadily without leakage or deformation. Single PE cups are only recommended for cold juice, soda and iced drinks. Avoid long-time storage of boiling water in single PE cups.
Q: Can paper cups withstand long-time ice storage with condensation?
A: PE waterproof coating effectively blocks condensation penetration. For long-time cold use, we suggest thicker paper stock to maintain rigidity.
4. Order Details: MOQ & Lead Time
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: Standard MOQ is 5,000 pieces per size/design. Small trial orders can be negotiated for brand testing.
Q: How long is the regular production turnaround?
A: Mass production takes 3–5 working days after artwork confirmation. Rush production service is available for urgent orders with extra rush charges. Shipping time depends on your destination.
5. Artwork & Printing Requirement
Q: What file formats do you accept for printing?
A: Vector files (AI, PDF, EPS) are preferred for sharp printing. High-resolution PNG/JPG (300 DPI minimum) is also acceptable. Please leave proper bleed margins to avoid cutting off patterns.
Q: Is white printing available on dark-colored paper cups?
A: Yes. White base printing can be added to make colored graphics vivid on kraft or dark paper cups.
6. Matching Accessories & Application
Q: Do you offer matching lids, paper sleeves and straws?
A: We provide matched plastic lids, paper heat-insulating sleeves and paper straws. All accessories can be printed with your logos uniformly.
Q: What scenarios fit these custom paper cups?
A: Widely used for coffee shops, bubble tea stores, restaurants, convenience stores, catering takeout, company events, weddings, parties, retail promotions and outdoor food stalls.
7. Storage Tips
Q: How should paper cups be stored to avoid damage?
A: Keep cups sealed and stored in cool, dry environments away from moisture, high heat and direct sunlight. Damp storage will cause paper warping and mildew.
