FAQs
What paper stock choices are available for custom tickets?
We supply multiple professional paper options for tickets. Standard options include 150gsm–300gsm coated art paper (matte or glossy) with sturdy thickness for frequent handling. Premium selections cover thick uncoated recycled paper, textured kraft paper and tear-resistant synthetic waterproof paper. Thin perforated ticket paper is specially offered for easy separation of admission stubs and customer receipts.
What color modes do you accept for ticket artwork?
Files can be printed in full CMYK four-color process for rich, colorful graphics, photos and patterns. Pantone PMS spot color printing is available for brands requiring strict consistent logo colors. Both single-sided and double-sided printing are supported for tickets with two-side information. RGB files must be converted to CMYK before submission to avoid color deviation after printing.
What anti-counterfeiting & functional customizations can be added?
Practical custom features are widely available: sequential serial numbering, scannable QR codes and barcodes, invisible UV security ink, anti-copy watermarks, tear-off perforated stub lines, microprint anti-fraud details. Decorative upgrades include foil stamping, spot UV, embossing/debossing and custom die-cut shapes for unique ticket outlines.
What standard ticket sizes do you offer? Can I use custom sizes?
Common mainstream ticket sizes: 70mm×200mm long strip ticket, 80mm×180mm event ticket, 90mm×55mm small coupon ticket. Fully personalized bespoke sizes are supported to match wristbands, booklets, roll tickets and multi-part voucher designs. We provide free editable templates with pre-set bleed and safe zones for all regular sizes.
What is bleed and safe zone for ticket designs?
A minimum 3mm bleed is required on all four edges of ticket files. Bleed prevents white blank edges after trimming and stops images/logos from being cut off. All vital content such as numbers, QR codes, text, barcodes must stay within the safe zone 3mm inward from trim lines, to avoid content loss caused by trimming tolerance and perforation positioning errors.
What artwork formats are acceptable for printing tickets?
We prefer print-ready vector files in AI and PDF formats with all fonts embedded. High-resolution PNG and JPG files are acceptable only if images are 300 DPI or higher. Blurry low-resolution images will result in fuzzy barcodes, unclear QR codes and grainy printed tickets.
What is the MOQ for custom printed tickets?
Basic plain CMYK tickets have a low minimum order quantity starting at 100 pieces. Tickets with complex anti-counterfeit features, foil, spot UV and special die cuts require higher MOQ. Bulk large-quantity orders enjoy tiered discounted pricing.
How long is ticket printing turnaround time?
Standard production lead time is 3–5 business days after digital proof confirmation. Fast rush printing service is available for urgent events with shortened lead times. Orders loaded with multiple complex special finishes need extended production time.
What finishing options protect tickets from damage?
Matte lamination and gloss lamination are optional to make tickets waterproof, anti-scratch and wear-resistant for long-term storage. Soft-touch lamination delivers a smooth velvet texture. Edge painting can be added for premium appearance. Perforation lines are precisely positioned for clean tearing between ticket main body and stub.
What scenarios fit custom printed tickets?
Our printed tickets work perfectly for concerts, sports games, exhibitions, trade fairs, amusement parks, movie theaters, raffle giveaways, parking passes, food vouchers, membership coupons, event check-in and venue access management.
